Rising to God's Challenge logo

The theme of our Capital Stewardship Campaign is "Rising to God's Challenge." Our fund-raising goal for the building expansion is $550,000. We have an additional goal: to prayerfully consider our relationship to God, our church and our community.

The Advance Commitments Dessert held on November 11th was a great success. Pacesetting gifts were pledged in the amount of $186,000 !

November 14th was Commitment Sunday, where all commitment cards (that had not been already turned in at the Advance Commitments Dessert) were collected. Additional commitment cards continue to arrive by mail, and as of the first week of December, our total pledged was $278,395. This total does not include memorial gifts or the Parsonage money (see the "Questions and Answers" page below)

November 30th was First Fruits Sunday, or the first Sunday where we would be accepting contributions towards your commitment. In the Old Testament, the first fruits of the harvest were brought to the altar to celebrate the abundance of God's gifts to us. We asked that everyone consider making a substantial offering to help the construction process. We raised $33,781 on that Sunday alone!

Thank you to everyone who has helped with the stewardship campaign. You will continue to hear about the campaign as we move forward!

To keep everyone informed and inspired about the campaign, you should have received a series of newsletters. These newsletters have been made into PDF files in case you lost your copy.

Check out the pages below for additional information.

More questions? Contact any member of the trustees or building committee!

Contact the church office to find out the members of these committees. All committee meetings are open to the congregation; the office can inform you when the next meetings are going to be held. In addition, committee members will wear badges during church services so that you know who to talk to if you have questions.
