Proposed Building Project: The second vote on the Building Project proposal that took place on April 6th passed with more than 90% approval. We are moving ahead with getting finalized architectural plans and cost estimates. We are also planning for a Capital Fund Raising campaign. Click here for updated information...
Summer Sunday School: Beginning June 1st and continuing through July, children's Sunday School will be held at 10 a.m. in the 1st/2nd grade room with combined ages. We still have some openings for adults to help one or two Sundays! There will be no Sunday School in August.
Vacation Bible School: Mark your calendars now! The evenings of June 22nd through 24th, we will be hiking through God's Word on the "Friendship Trek." Family and friends are invited to join the fun! Registration forms are now available.
Mother's Day Reception: To honor all mothers in our congregation, the Worship Committee is hosting a reception on May 11th during Fellowship time. Please join us for cake, coffee and punch.
One Year Bibles: Pastor Dan has challenged the church membership to read the entire bible in 2008! To make it easier, you can buy a 'One Year Bible' which breaks the readings into 15-20 minutes a day. Each bible is $15, a discount off of the cover price.
Koinonia Dinner: Each month we have a fellowship dinner following
the 11 a.m. worship. In May the dinner will be held on the 25th.
Food Pantry: The Outreach Committee has set a goal to provide
3000 pounds of food to the area food pantry for 2008. The food is
taken to the pantry after the first Sunday of each month, but you can bring food
items any time that is convenient.
Prayer Garden: The garden started blooming, so please check it out! It's not too late to purchase an engraved paving stone. Please contact the church office for more information. |
