The St. Luke Food Barrel is located in the Narthex of the church, and accepts non-perishable food donations at any time. After the first Sunday of the month, the food is weighed and taken to St. Paul United Methodist Church to supplement their food bank. Together, our congregations help to provide the essentials to those who are in need.
In 2000, the barrel collected 2,586 pounds of food. To celebrate, a jeans Sunday was held on November 19, 2000. We will soon be setting our goal for the year 2001. Check back here soon!
