FoodNet

FoodNet is a city wide program designed to capture leftover food from restaurants, grocery stores, and other food service providers. Our mission is "Tummy Fill, not Land Fill".

During the week the food is seperated by the volunteers into produce, fruits, bread, and specialty items.

Dairy Items, Salad, Soda Pop

Fruits & Vegetables

Bread & Bakery

Milk & Cream

The food is arranged into four rows that allows for many people to pick up at the same time. Anywhere from 60 to 150 people pick up food every week. The amount of food available for pick-up varies from week to week, depending on the amount that is picked up from the stores. Our goal is to see that everyone takes something home with them.

If you are interested in picking up food, come to the southwest door of the church at 5:15pm on Wednesday. The actual pick-up begins at 5:30pm and it goes quickly! Please bring your own bags and boxes to pick up food. We also ask that children under the age of 18 not be brought due to the crowded conditions.
