Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization. We welcome all people to join us as
we build simple, decent, affordable, houses in partnership with those in need of adequate shelter. Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 100,000 houses in more than 79 countries, including some 30,000 houses across the United States. Click here for Habitat's Home Page: 
During the months of August and September, St. Luke members will be collecting funds for Habitat for Humanity. Each member or family is provided with a calendar that lists a different activity every day to determine their donation. For example:
Day 4: For each room in your house, deposit 10 cents.
Day 11: No trips to the well! Deposit 15 cents for each water faucet.
Day 28: Add 20 cents for each smoke detector.
This can be fun for the whole family as they count their blessings and raise money for a great cause.
$248.44 was raised during the 2001 campaign. A big THANK YOU to all who donated time and money to this effort!
